Pros of Siberian Ownership 101

• They are terrific for the athletic person
• They are very social and adapt to many different family and single situations
• If properly trained and given attention they need, they are a healthy breed and absolutely beautiful
• Once bonded, they are loyal
• Easily crate trained
• Generally get along well with each other because they are pack animals

       Cons of Siberian Ownership 101

• They are infamous escape artists. If you can go over, around or under, they can find a way
• They blow their very plush coat several times per year
• Very high grooming maintenance when coat is blowing
• They need a very strong pack leader as you must earn their respect
• Most have a high prey drive so are not usually good with cats (exceptions apply)
• Not usually good off leash, although I have found exceptions to this rule
